We now offer two sections of camping. The long-standing South section and the new more rustic North section with a selection of larger sites available.
City of San Diego residents can receive a 20% discount. At check-in, guests must present proper ID for proof of residency to receive this discount.
UPDATE: Mission Bay RV Resort has added 147 new campsites to the Northeast corner of De Anza Cove. This new area is called Mission Bay RV Resort – North. It is across from the Mission Bay Golf Course and Practice Center. This section of the resort is much more rustic.

In July 2023, we added 147 new campsites to Mission Bay RV Resort! They can be booked up to two years in advance.
These campsites are in the Northeast corner of Mission Bay’s De Anza Cove, closest to the Mission Bay Golf Course & Practice Center. Our North resort is perfect for welcoming camping groups. Please note the surface of these campsites is dirt.
We accept class A, B, & C motorhomes, travel trailers, 5th wheels, cab-over campers, and teardrop campers.
Sorry, we do not accept conversion vans, converted school or transit buses. Tent camping is allowed only in the Mission Bay North resort – on the unpaved sites.
Reservations for holidays including Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day require a 3-Night Minimum Stay.
San Diego City Residents – inquire about our discount and reservation priority for city residents.
All transient stays must be paid in full at the time the reservation is made unless the reservation is two years out, in which case if the stay would be in excess of $1,000, then only 50% of the fee is collected at the time the reservation is made and the remaining 50% is paid when the reservation is one year out. When a camper checks in at registration, the camper should receive an invoice that shows the check-in date and a zero balance.

From May 16 through and including September 30 (the “Summer Season”), all transient stays should be limited to two weeks. If a camper wishes to stay more than fourteen (14) nights but less than thirty (30) nights, then the camper must move out and off the property by noon on the fifteenth (15th) day. Our policy is to allow campers to return no earlier than 2 p.m. the next day for another stay of up to fourteen (14) nights under a new reservation, provided that the camper fills out a new rental agreement and the company employee handling the new reservation follows all normal procedures and processes with a brand-new reservation.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, if a camper has stayed at the Resort as an extended stay camper for any length of time during the period of October 1 to May 15th during a 12-month period, such camper shall be limited during the following Summer Season to a stay of no more than fourteen (14) nights in the aggregate during such Summer Season.
If a returning camper does not specify that the camper wants the same RV site, then it is preferrable to move the camper to a new RV site if one is available. If the camper wants to return to the same RV site, then allow the camper to do so if available.

Guests who desire to stay 30 days or more are considered Extended Stay guests. They need to contact our reservations team to apply for an extended stay. Extended stays are allowed from October 1 through May 15.
