Mission Bay RV Resort welcomes you to beautiful San Diego, America’s Finest City.
Located along the shores of De Anza Cove, we offer a range of RV sites with full hook-ups with the best RV rates in Mission Bay. Our bay view sites enable you to take in the incomparable beauty of Mission Bay Park. Select your RV site online with our easy online booking capabilities.
We now offer two sections of camping. The long-standing South section and the new more rustic North section with a selection of larger sites available.

UPDATE: Mission Bay RV Resort has added 147 new campsites to the Northeast corner of De Anza Cove. This new area is called Mission Bay RV Resort – North. It is across from the Mission Bay Golf Course and Practice Center. This section of the resort is much more rustic.

New North Resort Site Information
In July 2023, we added 147 new campsites to Mission Bay RV Resort! They can be booked up to two years in advance.
These campsites are in the Northeast corner of Mission Bay’s De Anza Cove, closest to the Mission Bay Golf Course & Practice Center. Our North resort is perfect for welcoming camping groups. Please note the surface of these campsites is dirt.

Welcoming RV & Tent Camping
The North resort offers both tent and RV camping. Since we have a dirt surface, we are able to accommodate tents!
Full Hookups
All campsites offer full hookups with 30- and 50-amp power available. Power cord extensions and water hoses may be required to connect your RV to the pedestal as the hookups are located close to the curb. Suitable power cords and water hoses are available for rent with a refundable deposit at the main office.
Unpaved Campsites
All campsites have a dirt surface. Please bring camping rugs if desired. These campsites are called Unpaved when booking online.
Restrooms & Showers
There are two restroom buildings with showers in the North section.
Fire Pits
Fire pits are available for rent at the front office. After hours you can check with our hospitality rangers. Firewood is available for purchase at the front office.
Site Size
Sites vary in length and width. Many sites are much larger than the existing Mission Bay RV Resort sites. Pull-through sites are available.
Views
Many campsites offer views of Mission Bay, and some have views of the public beach. Please call to speak with a Reservations Agent to select a campsite with your desired view or refer to our resort map.
Amenities
Resort amenities include pool and spa, a clubhouse with games and lounge area, and laundry facilities. All Mission Bay RV Resort guests have access to the amenities and entertainment at nearby Campland on the Bay, accessible via the Mike Gotch Memorial Bridge bike/pedestrian path.
WIFI Update
We have upgraded and expanded our Wi-Fi network in the new North Resort at Mission Bay RV Resort. Cable is not available in the North Resort but our strong Wi-Fi signal can support your favorite streaming services. During your stay, if you experience issues with your Wi-Fi, or if other issues arise, please call the Front Desk at (858) 270-4300 and our team will assist.
Camping Groups
Camping is better together and our North resort is the perfect place to host camping groups. Our large sites allow for gatherings. The waterfront location allows plenty of group recreation. We offer special rates for group camping. Learn more about group camping.
Reservation Policies
We accept class A, B, & C motorhomes, travel trailers, 5th wheels, cab-over campers, and teardrop campers.
Sorry, we do not accept conversion vans, converted school or transit buses. Tent camping is allowed only in the Mission Bay North resort – on the unpaved sites.
Reservations for holidays including Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day require a 3-Night Minimum Stay.

Groups

Discounts
We offer the following discounts:
- 10% discount for Good Sam members.
- City of San Diego residents can receive a 20% discount. Guests must present proper ID to receive discount.
Discounts cannot be combined with other offers or promotions. We no longer offer discounts for first responders.
Extended Stays
Guests who desire to stay 30 days or more are considered Extended Stay guests. They need to contact our reservations team to apply for an extended stay. Extended stays are allowed from October 1 through May 15.
