Upcoming Cable TV Service Upgrade
We’re excited to share that Mission Bay RV’s South Resort will be transitioning to a new cable TV provider as part of our ongoing efforts to improve the guest experience.
What to Expect
Service Transition Date: January 26
There may be a brief interruption in cable TV service during the transition.
New Service Goes Live: January 27
In some areas, service may be restored by the end of the day on January 26, depending on installation progress.
Channel Rescan Required:
Guests will need to rescan their TV channels on January 27 end of day to access the new channel lineup. (Instructions on how to rescan your TV is below).
Why This Is Good News
If you’ve experienced cable TV issues in the past, improvements are on the way. Our new provider will be conducting site-by-site inspections and amplifier balancing to resolve existing problem areas and deliver a more reliable viewing experience.

How to Rescan Your TV
As part of our cable TV upgrade at Mission Bay RV Resort’s south section, guests will need to rescan their TV to access the new channel lineup.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Turn on your TV
Make sure the TV is connected to the cable outlet (not streaming or HDMI).
Open the TV Menu
Press the Menu, Settings, or Home button on your remote.
Go to Channel or Broadcast Settings
Look for one of the following:
Channel
Broadcast
Live TV
TV Settings
Select “Channel Scan” or “Auto Program”
Common options include:
Channel Scan
Auto Scan
Auto Program
Rescan Channels
Choose “Cable” or “Antenna / Cable”
If prompted, select Cable (not Antenna).
Start the Scan
The scan may take 5–10 minutes.
Please let it finish completely.
Enjoy the New Channel Lineup
Once complete, your channels should be restored and updated.
⚠️ If Channels Don’t Appear
Try running the channel scan one more time
Confirm the TV is set to Cable, not Antenna
Make sure the coax cable is securely connected
