A. Mission Bay RV Resort features a collection of spacious back-in and pull-through sites, including waterfront options where the lagoon glimmers like a welcome mat. All sites include full hookups, picnic tables, and access to resort amenities.
The South resort has a paved surface throughout. The North resort has more rustic gravel surface.
A. You can easily book online or call our friendly reservations team. Weekends, holidays, and peak seasons fill quickly, so booking earlier is always better, and less expensive.
Check-in begins at 2 PM and check-out time is 11 AM. Late check-outs are sometimes available for an additional fee.
A. High-demand weekends and holidays often require a minimum-night stay. Specifics vary seasonally and will appear automatically when booking.
The maximum stay is 21 days unless you apply and are accepted as an extended stay guest. Special paperwork and procedures are involved to be an extended stay guests of 30 days or more.

A. Absolutely. Whether you’re planning an RV rally, friends’ getaway, or club trip, our team can help organize adjacent sites and special arrangements. We do offer group rates!
A. Unfortunately, we cannot accept guest mail or package deliveries at the front office. We do allow for deliveries to your campsite.
A. RVs must be 2000 or newer (or in excellent condition if older). All rigs must be self-contained, well maintained, and meet the resort’s quality standards.
A. We do allow tent camping in the North resort. No car camping is allowed.
All sites include 30/50 amp power, water, sewer, and access to resort Wi-Fi.
A. Guests enjoy waterfront access, walking paths, outdoor recreation areas, restrooms with showers, laundry facilities, curated activities, and the sparkling serenity of Mission Bay right outside your door. The resort offers a public beach just steps away. There is a sports court for pickleball and basketball. Relax at the pool area with hot tub and clubhouse.
A. Yes - the public beach is just steps awa. The bayfront calls to paddlers, sunseekers, readers, and sunset collectors. While the resort’s shoreline varies with tide and season, easy access to Mission Bay’s beaches and pathways creates a dreamy front yard.
Yes - we allow portable fire rings and fire pits. You can also rent a fire pit and purchase fire wood from the front office. There are also a few public fire rings on the beach available on a first-come first-served basis.
Yes - Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort for general browsing and streaming. Sometimes the RV can block the signal so it is helpful to have a Wi-Fi booster in your RV.
A. Yes. Mission Bay RV Resort is pet-friendly and loves four-legged adventurers. Pets must remain leashed, and owners are expected to pick up after their companions.
Yes - Very much so. Families love our open spaces, bike paths, nearby playgrounds, and the calm Mission Bay shoreline.
A. Yes. Each reservation includes parking for one RV and one passenger vehicle. Boats, trailers, and additional vehicles must be approved in advance and may incur extra fees.
Yes - visitors are welcome. All guests must check in at the front desk. Visitor parking fees may apply during peak times.
A. Quiet hours are 10 PM to 7 AM. The bay has a way of whispering guests to sleep long before then.
Yes - our security team patrols the grounds to maintain a peaceful, relaxing environment. The South resort has a gated entrance.
Many areas of the resort are ADA-friendly, including accessible restrooms, paths, and public spaces. If you need specific accommodations, let us know and we’ll help curate a comfortable stay.
A. Wonderfully close. Ocean beaches, SeaWorld, Mission Beach Boardwalk, Pacific Beach, Old Town, Balboa Park, and the Gaslamp Quarter all orbit the resort like friendly neighbors.
Yes - Yes. Mission Bay RV Resort sits along the Eastern Shores of Mission Bay, offering calming waterfront views and direct access to miles of shoreline trails.
Yes. The Mission Bay Public Golf Course and Practice Center are across the street from the resort. The Paciic Beach Tennis Club offers tennis and pickleball courts and is open to the public. It is just 1.1 miles away by car, closer on foot.
