PARK RULES & REGULATIONS

These rules and regulations are for the benefit and safety of our guests and their families.
Failure to comply with these rules & regulations can and will result in immediate removal from the park. 

VEHICLE CRITERIA
Proof of current registration “is a must!”
We accept 1995 or newer RV’s: class A, B & C motorhomes, travel trailers, & 5th wheels. Toy haulers may only lower their rear gates in sites 036 thru 053 and 241 thru 251; lowering ramp in all other sites is prohibited.  1998 or newer truck campers are fine as long as they remain on the truckWe do not accept tents, pop-up tent trailers, van conversions or converted school, transit busses or horse trailers. ALL RV’S MUST BE SELF-CONTAINED w/3” sewer hose. All RV’s must have a clean appearance, no body damage or rust. They must have tight, secure connections, no leaks, all systems in good working order.  Management reserves the right to refuse entry to the park.
 
RESERVATIONS
Reservations can be made up to one year in advance; payment in full at time of reservation.
Holidays: 3 night minimum stay.
No group reservations are available during the months of July and August. 
 
SITE
Check-in 2:00 p.m.        Check-out 12:00 p.m. 
Guests on site after check-out time are subject to tow at their expense.
Sites may be requested, however, not always guaranteed as staff reserves the right to move guest as necessary.
Maximum of 8 guests allowed per site.   (1) One RV and (1) one additional passenger vehicle per site.   Overflow parking is available for additional vehicles at a nominal charge.  No personal property on landscaping, grass or streets; sites must be kept clean and clutter free. Sprinkler system in grassy areas runs automatically on a regular basis so PLEASE NO DRIVING OVER THE GRASS! No tents, outdoor sleeping or sleeping in passenger vehicles. ALL SITES ARE BACK IN ONLY. We do not offer pull-thrus or head in sites. Occupy the site you have paid for only. 30 days is the maximum stay.  The guests and the RV must leave the property for 24 hours before returning for a new stay. NO EXCEPTIONS. Guests failing to depart at the end of their 30 day stay will be denied any future reservations and RV will be subject to tow at owner’s expense. 
 
EARLY CHECK IN / LATE CHECK-OUT
If availability permits, early check-in and late check-out will be permitted for an additional $10.00. Early check-in is from 11am -1pm and maximum late check out is 4pm on the day of departure. After that time, guest will be charged for an extra night. Request for late check-out must be made by noon on your check-out date. Early check-ins and late check-outs will not be honored between and including Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends.
 
CANCELLATIONS
A $25 administration fee will apply to all cancellations. The fee will be waived if the reservation is re-scheduled within one year of your original dates.
NO REFUNDS on early departures.
 
BONFIRES IN SITES
Fire pits must be 6 inches off the ground and flames must not exceed one foot. Never leave fires unattended.
 
ELECTRIC GOLF CARTS & OUTDOOR APPLIANCES
Golf carts are only to be driven by licensed persons, 16 years or older 
Only street legal golf carts are allowed outside of the confines of the RV Resort. Golf carts are not-allowed in the resort’s residential areas.
A fee of $5.00 per day will be charged for electric golf carts and outdoor appliances.
 
QUIET HOURS
Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. NO GENERATORS are to be used at anytime.   Please be considerate of your neighbors. 
 
SAFETY RULES
Parents are solely responsible for the behavior, actions and safety of their children. All guests and visitors must abide by the rules and regulations given at check-in and any posted signs throughout the resort. Anyone who causes harm to other guests or engages in any behavior that is deemed potentially dangerous to others will be asked to leave the park immediately.  Any behavior deemed to be rude, offensive, or hostile toward any staff members can result in your removal and ban from the park.
 
PETS
NO PITBULLS, ROTTWEILLERS, OR DOBERMANS or other dogs with aggressive behavior.  Pets must be leashed at all times, no exceptions. If they poop, you scoop, no exceptions. Excessive barking is disturbing to other guests.  Please do not leave your pet unattended while tethered outside. 
 
BEACH AREA
No alcohol, glass containers, smoking, littering, disturbing noise, bonfires or motorized vehicles. No overnight sleeping or camping.
NO DOGS: Nov. 1 – Mar. 31    9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
                     Apr. 1 – Oct. 31     9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Dogs are allowed all other times and must be leashed; also, please clean up after your pet.   
 
WASHING OF VEHICLES AND BOATS
Washing and mechanical maintenance of RV’s, boats or vehicles is not permitted on park property. A boat rinse area is provided next to our boat launch. Please do not use soap or other chemicals.
 
UTILITY CONNECTIONS, CHEMICALS AND SEWAGE SPILLS
All utility connections must be securely fastened. ANY AND ALL SEWAGE SPILLS MUST BE REPORTED TO THE OFFICE IMMEDIATELY! A minimum charge a $50.00 will be assessed for cleaning fees, depending on the amount of the spill. Guests may also incur any applicable fines imposed by City and State environmental regulations. Any use of cleansers or chemicals which can hit the ground is prohibited.
 
LAUNDRY FACILITIES  & BUILDINGS
Please use laundry etiquette when while using facilities. Do not leave laundry unattended. Please leave laundry room neat & clean.
Smoking is prohibited in ALL buildings in the resort.
 
FIREARMS/WEAPONS & FIREWORKS
No weapons or fireworks of any kind are permitted on the grounds. This includes firearms, BB guns, sling-shots, knives, or any other device or item that can be perceived or used as a weapon.
 
BIKES, ROLLERBLADES and SKATEBOARDS
Bikes, Razors, skateboards and rollerblades can be ridden on asphalt roads ONLY at the rider’s risk.   Helmets must be worn at all times by riders age 16 and under for all of the above.  Unsafe maneuvers, tricks and other techniques that endanger the rider or others are prohibited.  Courtesy to others is required at all times. GAS POWERED skateboards, mopeds, ATV’s, scooters or any other items of this nature, are not allowed in the park. Street legal motorcycles and scooters are allowed with a valid driver’s license. California State Safety Regulations requires licensed  riders to be at least 16 years of age, and a helmet must be worn at all times on scooter or motorcycles.

LOST AND FOUND
Lost and found is at the RV office and available during regular office hours. Mission Bay Resort is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Please secure your valuables at ALL TIMES!
 
VENDORS
ALL outside vendors must check in with the office. Vendors must have a liability insurance bond on file prior to servicing any RV inside of the resort.
 
MAIL AND DELIVERIES
Mission Bay Resort cannot accept U.S. mail for our guests.  Mail may be received be “General Delivery” at San Diego, CA 92138. The Post Office is located at 2535 Midway Drive.  UPS and FEDEX will deliver to your site. Please provide sender your Site # when giving them our address.
 
24-HOUR SECURITY PATROL
Shield Security provides 24-hour support and assistance to Mission Bay RV Resort. For assistance after office hours, please call 619-247-6864. In case of a life-threatening emergency, please call 911.
 
PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE DUCKS
Wildlife is protected in the Mission Bay area. It is a felony to harm,
harrass, or disturb wildlife. Failure to abide by the law could result in a
$20,000 fine and/or imprisonment. (PC Code 597)
 
WI-FI
Internet services may only be used for lawful purposes. Transmission of material in violation of federal or state regulation is prohibited. You agree to indemnify Mission Bay RV Resort, Newport Pacific, and the City of San Diego from any and all claims resulting from your wrongful or unlawful conduct and/or improper use of the services.

 NOTICE TO GUESTS
 
Pursuant to California Civil Code Section 799.20, et seq., a recreational
vehicle may be removed from the premises without judicial hearing,
after the service of a 72-hour notice, if the occupant has been in the
park for 30 days or less for any of the following reasons:
  1. Failed to pay for his/her occupancy in the park
  2. Failed to comply with the park’s rules and regulations Pursuant to CA Civil Code Sections 799.20 et. Seq.
  3. Failure to vacate on specified date Pursuant to CA Civil Code Section 1866
