MISSION BAY RV PARK

Vehicle Criteria

We accept 1995 or newer model: class A & C motor homes, travel trailers, 5th wheels.  
We accept 1998 or newer cab-over campers,  and 1998 or newer self contained tab or teardrop campers.


Sorry, we do not accept pop-up tent trailers,converted school,transit busses, or horsetrailers.
 

All recreational vehicles must meet the following criteria:

 

  • Current registration "is a must!" - No exceptions!
  • Over-all clean appearance
  • Original components
  • No major body damage
  • No rust
  • No chipping paint
  • No fluid leaks onto ground
  • Tight and secure connections


Mission Bay RV Park reserves the right to request that your RV not enter the property or be removed from property if the above criteria are not met.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

         YOUR AGREEMENT TO COMPLY WITH RULES AND REGULATIONS

RV Park guests and visitors must agree to and are bound by the following rules and regulations at all times. Failure to comply with RV Park rules and regulations may result in your removal from the RV Park. Management retains sole discretion in that regard.

COACH APPEARANCE

RV must be aesthetically pleasing and have its original components. The staff at Mission Bay RV Park reserves the right to request that your RV not enter the property or be removed from the property at the sole discretion of management.

SITE

  • Check-in 2:00 p.m.
  • Check-out 12:00 p.m.
  • Guests on site after check-out time are subject to tow 
  • Sites are never guaranteed.
  • Maximum of 8 guests allowed per site.  (Additional charge in excess of 4.)
  • One sleeping vehicle permitted per site.
  • Rates include 4 occupants, 1 RV and 1 vehicle.  Additional vehicles must be parked in overflow parking at a rate of $5.00 per day.
  • We do not offer pull through sites. All sites are designed as back in. DO NOT pull in.  DO NOT drive over the grass areas.
  • All personal Items to include vehicles, lawn chairs, etc., must fit nicely within the confines of your own site. Vehicles that do not fit will have to be parked in guest or overflow parking.
  • No personal property on landscaping or on streets.
  • Common grass areas - temporary outside furniture only (under park staff discretion). Sprinkler system runs systematically at 12:00 a.m. daily. Please be sure all personal property is removed from grass at that time.
  • No storage sheds.
  • Utility piping is located under grass strips. No hammering or spiking anything into the ground. No driving on the grass.
  • Guest must keep site clean and free from clutter at all times.
  • Occupy the site you have paid for only. Unoccupied sites are reserved for incoming visitors.
  • No clothes lines are permitted at any time.
  • All utility connections must be securely fastened.
  • No tents.

LATE CHECK-OUT/EARLY CHECK-IN

  • Early check-ins and late check-outs will be granted for a $10.00 charge.  Any check-out later than 4 PM will be charged for an extra day.

BUILDINGS

  • Smoking is prohibited in ALL buildings in the RV Park.

FIRES

  • Always use good safety practices when handling fires.
  • Warn your children of the dangers of fires.
  • Bring your own fire pit. It must be at least 6 inches off of the ground. Bonfire flames must not exceed one foot.
  • Never leave fires unattended.

 SIGNS

  • Posted signs must be obeyed at ALL times.

ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT 

  • Any refrigerators, freezers, ice machines, giant fans, air conditioners, etc., will require an additional charge of $5.00 per day.
  • Electric carts are subject to an additional $5.00 a day charge.

VEHICLES (recreational and street)

  • No advertisements or “for sale” signs displayed on vehicles.
  • No converted school or transit busses allowed.
  • Truck shells and campers may not be removed from their vehicles.
  • All vehicles must have proof of current registration.
  • Vehicles must fit within the confines of your site. Any vehicles that do not must park in guest parking or overflow parking and may require an additional charge.  PLEASE CONTACT THE OFFICE REGARDING PARKING. 
  • Speed limit within the Park is 5 mph.

GOLF CARTS

  • Golf carts are only to be driven by persons who are sixteen or older and are licensed drivers.
  • Only street legal golf carts are allowed outside of the confines of the RV Park. All others are prohibited.
  • Street legal golf carts are permitted to drive on city streets only. No carts are allowed to drive through the resort's residential areas.
  • A fee of $5.00 a day will be charged for electric golf carts.

QUIET HOURS

  • Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
  • Generators can be used for emergencies only.  Please leave them off otherwise.
  • Outdoor projection screens must be off by 10:00pm.
  • Young children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Children 18 and under must be on-site and supervised by parents by 10:00 p.m.
  • Please be considerate of your neighbors.
  • Behavior which is determined to be disturbing to other RV Park patrons will not be tolerated. Management, at its sole discretion, reserves all right to make such determination and will request that anyone causing the disturbance immediately leave the RV Park.

SAFETY RULES

  • Parents are solely responsible for the behavior, actions and safety of their children.
  • All guests and visitors must be informed and must abide by the rules and regulations.
  • Anyone who causes harm or discomfort to other guests or engages in any behavior that is deemed potentially dangerous to other guests, in management’s sole discretion, will be asked to leave the Park immediately.

PETS

  • Pets must be leashed at all times.
  • No tethered animals left unattended.
  • Park staff reserves the right to ask owners of barking dogs to leave.
  • Please use designated pet areas for pets to “do their business.”
  • Puppy school 101: “If they poop, you’ve got to scoop!”  
  • No pets in buildings.
  • No pit-bulls, rottweillers, dobermans or other breeds known to have aggressive or uncontrollable behavior!
  • No pets on Beach.

Reservations

  •  Reservations can be made one year in advance. Payment in full expected at time of reservation.
  • Group reservations require a minimum of 10 recreational vehicles. Call the Park office for group reservations.
  • 30 night maximum stay. You must depart for one night before beginning a new stay.
  •  Holidays: 3 night minimum reservation

 

Cancellations

  • No refunds on early departures.
  • $25 dollar cancellation fee on all cancelled reservations.

DO NOT FEED THE DUCKS

  • Wildlife is protected at Mission Bay RV Park. It is a felony to harm, harass or disturb wildlife, and failure to abide by the law could result in a $20,000.00 fine and/or imprisonment. (P.C. Code 597)

BEACH AREA

  • No pets.
  • No glass.
  • No motorized vehicles.
  • All personal items must be removed when you leave.
  • No gas containers.

WASHING OF VEHICLES AND BOATS

  • Washing of vehicles and extensive mechanical maintenance are not permitted on site.
  • A boat rinse area is provided next to our boat launch and is the only authorized boat rinsing facility. Do not use soap or other chemicals.

CHEMICALS AND SEWAGE SPILLS

  • ANY AND ALL SEWAGE SPILLS MUST BE REPORTED TO THE OFFICE IMMEDIATELY! Failure to do so will result in removal and ban from the park, and guests may also incur any applicable fines imposed by City and State environmental regulations.   Guests who spill sewage will be charged a minimum $50.00 clean-up fee. 
  • Do not use any  chemicals on the ground to control ants or for any other reason. Please contact the office for ant problems. Any use of cleansers or chemicals on the ground can result in removal and ban from the park, and guests may also incur any applicable fines imposed by City and State environmental regulations.

VENDORS

  • Outside vendors may not work in the park without approval from the office.

 

Laundry 

  • The laundry room must not be used during quiet hours; 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Please be sure to collect all laundry from the machines – do not leave it unsupervised. Please leave laundry room clean and neat.

 FIREWORKS

  • No fireworks of any kind are permitted on the grounds.

FIREARMS/ WEAPONS

  • No weapons of any kind are permitted on the grounds.

BIKES, ROLLERBLADES & SKATEBOARDS

  • No skateboarding or rollerblading in RV Park. Riders that do not comply with this policy may have their boards or skates confiscated until their check-out from the property, or evicted without refund of site rental fees.
  • Bikes can be ridden on asphalt roads ONLY, not in buildings, not on sidewalks, walkways, curbs and only in a safe and responsible manner (i.e. no "TRICKS" against curbs, railing, etc.).
  • When bike riding in streets, particular care should be given to motor vehicles. Traffic laws must be obeyed. Courtesy and awareness of others and your surroundings is required at all times. Riders that do not comply with this policy may have their bike confiscated until their check-out from the property, or be evicted without refund of site rental fees.
  • Mission Bay RV Park recommends that all bike riders wear standard protective gear.
  • GAS POWERED skateboards, mopeds, or anything gas powered of this kind, are not allowed in the park. Only street legal motorcycles and scooters are allowed with a valid driver’s license. California State Safety Regulations requires riders to be at least 16 years of age or older WITH a Valid Driver’s License, and a helmet must be worn at all times during riding.

 LOST AND FOUND

  • Lost and found is located at the main office and will be open during normal office hours.
  • Mission Bay Park is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
  • Please secure your valuables at ALL TIMES!

MAIL AND MESSAGES

  • Mission Bay Park cannot accept deliveries at the office, COD items, or sign for packages for guests.  Mail may be recieved by “general delivery“ at the United States Post Office at 2535 Midway Drive, San Diego, CA 92110.
  • The Mission Bay Park address cannot be used as a permanent address for guests of the campground.
  • Emergency messages will be delivered to the site immediately.

24-HOUR SECURITY PATROL

  • Bradley Security officers provide 24 hour support and assistance to Mission Bay RV Park. Please feel free to contact the park office to speak to a security officer.
  • For assistance after office hours, please call (619) 247-6864. 
  • In case of a life-threatening emergency, please call 911.

KEYCARDS

  • To enter RV Park area, guests must use a security keycard, which will be assigned at check-in. A $20 fee will be processed for each keycard that is not returned at check-out. 

AUTOMATIC EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR (AED)

  • An AED is a device that can deliver a life-saving electric current through a person’s heart during cardiac arrest. Mission Bay Park has teamed up with San Diego Project Heart Beat to ensure a quick response to those suffering from sudden cardiac arrest.  Please contact the front office for more information.

WI-FI

  • Internet services may only be used for lawful purposes. Transmission of material in violation of federal or state regulation is prohibited. You agree to indemnify Art Street Interactive, Mission Bay RV Park, Newport Pacific Capital Company, Inc., and the City of San Diego from any and all claims resulting from your wrongful or unlawful conduct and/or improper use of the services.
